soulties is a love island games inspired gpsl. eight men and women from across the globe are whisked away to a tropical villa in mallorca for a chance at finding love and winning a $100,000 prize. islanders will team up in couples to compete in a variety of challenges to win immunity and avoid being dumped from the island. and remember: you never know when a bombshell will enter the villa to shake things up. this is an app-free community.

rules

vibes we have a zero tolerance policy for bullying or other forms of harrassment. the mod team is ready and willing to step in if concerns of this happening are brought to our attention. we only ask that members comment with their member journals so we appropriately address issues - there is too much anonymous hate on the server and we will not lend credibility to anonymous journals. the entire premise of this gpsl is meant to be fast paced, and over the top ridiculous, like all reality television. if that's not what you want, then this gpsl is not for you! applying you are wlecome to use either ic or ooc usernames without any extra letters, symbols, or numbers. we ask that no old entries be visible, and that your friend's list is cleared of non-community members. your pb and character must be at least 21 years of age. no exceptions. the format of love island games uses love island contestants from previous series. feel free to make your character a former contestant and use that as a way to build connections! character info must include name, age, occupation, sexual orientation, and at least a 200 word bio describing your character's history. as this is not a first come, first served community, we recommend putting your best foot forward in your biography! for the first round of applications we are only accepting sixteen people and an undetermined amount of writers to be added later as bombshells. if your application has been deleted, we hope you'll consider joining us next games! the mods reserve the right to reject without further explanation. our current character cap is one character per writer at a time. we understand the importance of queer representation, and we are 100% open to bisexual/pansexual characters. we ask that you include sexual orientation in your biography so islanders are able to mingle appropriately and respect preferences during recouplings. this isn't a perfect solution to this format, and we're open to suggestions going forward.

gameplay

activity initial introductions will be done in a ffa style and must be done within the first 72 hours of joining. anyone who hasn't introduced themselves or responded to a majority of their comments in that time period will be vulnerable to be dumped from the island. there will be weekly mod-led activities that will require community member participation. failure to participate in a weekly activity within the posted timeframe will make you vulnerable to be dumped from the island. we're here for a good time, not a long time. you are welcome and encouraged to post narratives, social media updates, etc. assume social media posts can only be seen by the producers (mods) and fellow islanders. given the nature of this gpsl being activity based, updates will not strictly be required on a regular basis, but islanders may get challenge based perks for updating! bombshells to keep things fresh, new islanders will be introduced to the villa at a time determined by the mod team. some bombshells will be selected from applications, and others will be former writers (who were active) that we'll offer the chance to come back with a new character as a bombshell. recouplings a recoupling event can happen at any time to shake things up. this will primarily be player led, but the producers may step in to shake things up if necessary to keep things flowing. dumped! if you were dumped, you are out of the running to win. all dumped couples will remain added to the gpsl to watch everything unfold if they so wish, and we will have a place for these ex-islanders to chill and enjoy the drama! any questions? feel free to ask the mod team.
